![]() ![]() To defeat Ludwig, stomp on his head, after two hits, Ludwig will shoot two homing projectiles at you so as a result, it is highly advised you time his movements stomp his head the moment he emerges from his shell. If you are under the effects of the Ice Flower, toss Iceballs at the projectiles as they can cancel them out. He only lands if a player is directly below him. ![]() Ludwig von Koopa is extremely dangerous as he shoots indigo projectiles out of his wand that follows Mario around and use flutter-jumping in a tactic similar to Yoshi's. Once you reach the end of the level, Ludwig von Koopa is fought. The second part of the level has the same platform, with Bob-ombs as obstacles instead of Bullet Bills. Bullet Bills are shot from Bill Blasters on the sides of the level, and run into each other in the middle of the screen, and as the elevator gets closer to the top of the first part of the level, Banzai Bills are shot from the right side. An Ice Flower can be found during this part of the level making avoiding the Bullet Bills more manageable. It can be controlled by tilting the Wii Remote left or right as it travels upward. The first part of this level contains a large platform similar to the Tilt Lift first seen in World 1-2 on a cloudy background. This allows you to hit the exit flag pole up high for a 1-Up.This is the second-to-last fortress in New Super Mario Bros. Good luck! And remember, if things get too tough you can grab a Propeller Suit before starting the level! Note: if you make it to the end of the level with Yoshi, you can use him to dismount onto the platform with the second warp pipe leading to the exit flag. Take the very last Heavy Para-Beetle down to it, then use Yoshi's Flutter Jump to reach the Para-Beetle to the right that should appear right as you grab the coin. This one rests under the final row of Heavy Para-beetles. The Para-Beetle will sail up into the coin and you can dismount onto the platform to the right.įor this coin you'll probably need Yoshi. ![]() Get on a Para-Beetle two or three Star Coin-widths to the right of the coin's position above. This coin is high above a row of Para-Beetles. The Heavy Para-Beetle naturally sink but you'll need to get on somewhat early to make it to the coin. When you see this coin far below near the start of the level, take the Heavy Para-Beetle down to it. ![]()
